Okay, yeah...thanks.

[He stood up, his legs were back to normal now.]

Do you need me to help with anything?

[then he realized that this was his first time at Gokudera's place. He took that time to look around a bit without being too nosy.]

[Gokudera's room is pretty sparse, aside from the bed. It is clean, and he's got a dufflebag from home filled with cigarettes. His precious stash. A makeshift shelf serves for his clothing, an early project. There's a bunch of stacks of paper filled with technical drawings as well.

Gokudera went to the shelf, grabbing a pair of worn drawstring pants and a long-sleeved tee shirt. The pants were loose on Yamamoto so they should fit Makoto. The shirt though... ]

The shirt might be too tight, but give it a shot?

[Makoto's attention turned back onto Gokudera when he showed him the clothes.]

I'll try them on.

[Without missint a beat or thinking about it too much, Makoto took off his shirt and his pants, leaving himself in his boxers. He's showered with other guys before, so this was no big thing...Except it might be now]

[It was a big deal before, okay.

Gokudera goes bright cherry red, making a choking sound. He turns quickly to give Makoto his privacy.]

[The clothes were snug, but not uncomfortably so. They were tight enough to hug his muscular frame and a bit of his abdomen peeked out from the bottom. He tugged at it just a bit before looking down at himself. Good enough. He looked over to see Gokudera turned around. He couldn't help but smile a little at that.]

All right. All done.

[Slooowly Gokudera turned back around, like he wasn't entirely certain Makoto was telling the truth.

Knowing how Gokudera felt, his extremely poorly done attempt to not stare at Makoto's abs was even more noticeable now.

This was going to be a difficult night if there ever was one.

His bed was a little larger than Makoto's - theoretically they wouldn't have to snuggle. Gokudera turned off the lights and got in bed first so that Makoto could make that decision for himself.]

At least we already know about the other's obnoxious sleeping habits, if any.

[Makoto followed Gokudera into the bed. Either way, it was most likely that Makoto was going to end up against the other during some part of the night.]

Haha...Yeah. I'll tell you if you snore or do something creepy like laugh in your sleep.

[He got underneath the covers and laid on his back.]

Hey...Hayato?

[Gokudera tried to give him at least a little space for now. The last time, Makoto's fear and need for comfort had kept Gokudera's libido in check. This time... well, the danger was over.

And that shirt really didn't do much to hide Makoto's physique.]

Y-yeah? [Gokudera turned on his side slightly to look at Makoto in the low light of the room provided by the moon and stars streaming in through the uncurtained window.]

[Makoto was silent for a moment after he called out to Gokudera, thinking of how to phrase his question. He stared up at the ceiling before turning his head to look at the other boy laying there.]

What...Well...

What do we do now?

[He studied Gokudera's face in the pale moon light as well. He hadn't really...thought about it before now--well, maybe he had but not in this way, but Gokudera had a cute face.]

I dunno. I've never been in a relationship before, and I didn't exactly have parents I could take cues from. [Which was depressing and not something he wanted to think about right then.

He turned more fully onto his side, using one arm to pillow under his head while he looked at Makoto. He'd noticed how handsome the other boy was long ago.]

I guess we just ... keep doing what we always do, just now we can hold hands too. Or kiss. I-if you want too.

[His own parents were very...parent-like. His mother was a housewife and did the domestic things and his father worked. They were very pleasant and normal. He was pretty sure that taking cues from them wouldn't quite work in a relationship like this one.]

I've never been in one, either.

[He also turned on his side to get a better look at the other.

But he nodded at that. That sounded good, just doing what they always did before. He didn't mind the thought of holding hands or...kissing.]

Do...Do you want to try now? K-kissing I mean...

If you want to. We don't have to. [Gokudera had kind of already kissed Makoto without permission once before, and to be perfectly frank, if Makoto wanted to go to second base RIGHT THEN Gokudera would be all for it, so he was pretty sure he wanted much much more than Makoto and let the other boy take the lead so he didn't overstep any bounderies.]

[How do you do the thing? Makoto wanted to try it, but how did he initiate it? Just lean in, right?

He scooted closer and put a hand onto Gokudera's shoulder. Then he got his determined face on as if he were stepping up onto the diving block for a swim meet. He could do this.

Then with that, he leaned in, closed his eyes, then gently pressed his lips against Gokudera's. His heart started pounding heavily in his chest. He'd done it and it was....!

[Gokudera had not truly expected Makoto to want to try kissing so soon. He tried to hold himself back a little when returning the kiss, so he didn't scare or startle the other boy with too much intensity. It felt nice though, so nice to kiss Makoto while being honest with his feelings. Even when he pulled back to look at Makoto again, he reached out to hold on to the others' shirt.] ... Just so you know, um ... anytime you want to kiss me, I probably want to kiss you too, so. Anytime you want to, just... go ahead.

[Gokudera could thank Nagisa for that. He had already planted the thought of kissing the other into his head earlier that day, so it was no wonder that he was curious to try it out.

There was a soft blush on his cheeks because as far as he was concerned, that was his first kiss.]

Okay...I'll keep that in mind.

[That was enough for him for the night. But that did loosen him up a little enough to scoot in closer and drape an arm around Gokudera's waist.]

We should get to sleep.

[Sleep was the LAST thing on Gokudera's mind right now, and he tensed up slightly from worry that Makoto might notice when he scooted a bit closer but... as long as he was careful he could probably calm down. Right. Just... be vigilant until Makoto fell asleep.]

Y-yeah. Um, goodnight, Makoto.

[Makoto closed his eyes and leaned their foreheads together.]

Goodnight, Hayato.

[It didn't take Makoto long after that to fall asleep. It had been quite an eventful day for him both emotionally and physically. But he thought that the outcome overall was well worth it. To see Gokudera back to his normal self was the best Valentine's Day gift he could have ever gotten.]

[It took Gokudera ... somewhat longer to fall asleep, what with his 'problem' and all, but self-denial was no stranger to Gokudera and in time, he was able to calm himself down and fall asleep as well, hoping he wouldn't wake up tomorrow to find everything had been a wonderful dream.]
